Every night, one of us takes Colin up to read books and go to bed, and the other stays behind downstairs to clean up, etc. Lately, Colin refuses to say goodnight to the parent staying downstairs...until he gets upstairs. Then he can spend 5 minutes shouting "I love you mommy!" or "night night daddy!" over and over and over from the balcony. Here's an abbreviated version of what we get every night :)
