So a few weeks ago, Colin's "report card" from school kept noting his favorite activity for the day was "good morning song." We figured it was something they sang in the mornings, but Colin would never sing it for us. Then last week, Mike went to pick him up and walked in on him dancing like a madman to this song. So of course he had to download it, and now we are able to watch Colin lose his mind and dance like crazy any time he hears this song. As you can see, he has moves:

3 months old!
Here's our big three month old this morning!
It's hard to believe how big she has gotten already! Charlotte did great her first week of daycare. She has spent most of the weekend sleeping or snuggling with me, but I know its just a transition. And we are all starting to sniffle, so I'm sure that's the week 1 daycare bug. Oh, how I missed the infant room!
At 3 months, Charlotte is just so sweet. She gets so excited when anyone talks to her, and starts kicking her feet and smiling and laughing. She's trying so hard to talk to us too... I think she's going to be a social lady! She seems so strong too. She hates tummy time so she's not rolling to her back yet, but on her back she rolls up on her sides, which Colin didn't do until about 5 months. She's also really trying to sit up, craning her neck and pulling herself up whenever we have reclined her back on anything. I think she's going to be a mover a lot faster than her brother was! Hard to believe three months has already flown by already!

Last day
Today is our last full day at home together (Charlotte will go to daycare for a few hours Monday and Tuesday and we both go full time on Wednesday). This is pretty much how we feel about that.

in the mind of colin..
The other night Colin and I were talking about how I am a grown up and he is a kid. I told him, "when you grow up and have your own kids, then you'll be a daddy." He got really quiet and then said very seriously, "But I don't want to run out of hair!" I said, oh buddy, not all daddys run out of hair. He said, "Yeah. Daddy ran out of hair. But he's still nice."

return to the park
We were all so happy to have nice weather this weekend and spend the afternoon at the park.
(he picked out his own outfit)
Even Charlotte enjoyed her first trip to the park.
Colin turned into even more of a daredevil since last year. He was all over the equipment for the big kids. After he totally freaked me out by scaling this thing like a monkey, he said to me, "Mommy, I'm sorry I scared you. But I'm going to go on that again. Because I like it." Aw.
cheesy face on the swing.
Charlotte had so much fun watching Colin she passed out.
Looking forward to a long summer of taking these two to the park!

Easter 2013
We had lots of fun over Easter weekend!
Mean mom dressed me up like a bunny (thanks for the ears grandma Karen!)
I was thrilled.
Colin was thrilled, however, about dyeing eggs.
He was meticulous with the dyeing (I was just surprised we didnt have a whole carton of orange eggs)
Teamwork (I was being closely supervised)
Kids' Easter pic: Nailed it! Haha.
Charlotte was more willing to pose than Colin.
So sweet in her very first dress!
It was too wet and muddy to have our hunt outdoors, so we had to make do indoors. Colin didnt seem to mind.
He was SO excited every time he found one!
He developed a weird system of running to the kitchen to empty the candy from each egg into this coffee filter (or "nest" as he called it)...
Here are a couple of slightly better pics of the kiddos and their clearly sexist easter baskets. I do what I can, people.
So much fun!
