weekend with the grands

Grandma Linda and G spent the weekend with us on their way home from vacation in Michigan. Colin was shy at first, but then he warmed up and had a great weekend with them.

He got to take a walk with his grandpa:
We don't have any woods for G to lead him on adventure walks like back in Ginger Creek, so the evergreen will have to do.

Already teaching him nature lessons.

Colin showed G how cool pinecones are:

And then a wagon ride was had.

And Grandma brought Colin a little blankie buddie to sleep with. It's Colin's new favorite thing. This morning he bestowed his highest honor on it - sharing his milk.

Grandpa has been waiting a long time to be able to swing Colin - and they both had a blast.

When I was little, after every swing, I would say "do it again!" Colin takes after his mom ... after the first swing, G laid him down and Colin immediately yelled "more!"
