Charlotte is 18 months old.

I mean, seriously.  Look at her.  She's really not even a baby anymore.

We had her 18 month appointment today.  Baby girl is now 30.25 inches tall and weighs 22 pounds.  She's put on a little weight, finally pulling back into the 10-25% in both categories.  

Dr. says she's doing great.  She aced all of her developmental milestones.  She seems light years ahead of where Colin was at this age (Girls...).  She's talking nonstop (up to probably 20 words) and it's so much fun to finally be able to have conversations with her.  She loves to say "yeah" in response to most questions (and

enthusiastically shake her head "no" to others).  She's running and climbing and tumbling and dancing.

She's still mommy's little best friend.  She loves climbing Colin's stepstool in the  bathroom so she can "put on my makeup" by rubbing brushes on her face and trying to brush her hair.  She also brings me my shoes from my closet so I can try them on, then takes them back and gets another pair.  At the doctor, she cracked him up by insisting on parading around in her diaper with my necklace on.  What a fancy girl!  

Despite her girly ways, she can hold her own with Colin and still adores him.  She loves to chase him around the house, try to get him to play with her, and generally to do anything he is doing.

She's such a big girl and brings so much fun and laughter to our lives every day.  We love this girl!
