In an attempt to beat the heat on Saturday, we took Colin over to the Columbian Park zoo after his nap. Given last week's expedition to the Indy zoo, we had to tell him a few times that we were only going to the "little zoo" this week.
Just like the past two years, the fountains were the highlight for C. He had the run of them to himself, other than this bronze penguin he befriended.
Then he spotted this giant yellow caterpillar and demanded to "ride it!"
Oh yeah.. he also looked at a few animals. And then immediately wanted to return to the fountains.
