4 months old!

A couple of days late, here are Colin's 4 month pics -

Colin goes for his four month checkup (and shots!) tomorrow, so we'll have updated stats then. His four month accomplishments include sleeping through the night about 50% of the time, laughing out loud, and grabbing everything in sight. He starts "school" on Tuesday! Growing too fast!

Most of you know how I love to keep track of anniversaries and random dates. One year ago today, we found out we were going to have a baby. It's hard to believe it's only been a year since that day. I won't say I don't remember what life was like without him, because I do (I think it involved more sleep). But I wouldn't change it for the world. It's been an amazing year and I know it's only going to get better.

This weekend we put together some new toys or "containment devices" for Colin...



The doorway jumper was a hit! I thought he'd still be too small for it, but he held his head up great and was laughing and smiling as soon as he got in it!



Of course, then he decided it made a better teething device than jumper...


And he kept sticking his hand through the leg hole ... going to have to work on that...

Then we put together his high chair. He won't be eating food for awhile, but we thought it would make a good place for him to sit and watch us cook dinner.

He looked so tiny in that big chair, but he seemed to like being up high where he could smile at us!

We had a great valentine's weekend - we worked out a babysitting swap with our friends Brian and Dorothy so both of the couples could have a nice night out. Friday night, we headed over to their house to watch Ellie. Easiest babysitting gig ever - she slept the whole time we were there! Then last night they came over and watched Colin while we went to Bea One for sushi. We all had a great time. Today we're hanging out and enjoying time with our little valentine! Here are some pics from the weekend!
