The Three Days of Christmas 2015!

We've had a fun and loooong Christmas celebration this year!  We kicked things off Christmas eve at the Z's with brunch and the kids' first crack at some presents...

and we had to take the traditional "Missing Weller" picture for Adam...

Christmas eve at night these two little sugarplums were all ready to go!

We let them open "one" present...

and then daddy read the "Night Before Christmas"

Oh it may look like this is still the night before Christmas?  It's not.  It's at zero dark thirty on Christmas morning.  Colin got up "in the 4's" to go dump his stocking and make sure Santa had visited.  Here we are losing it that Santa actually brought the light saber he'd asked for!

Notice the saber practice in the background while Charlotte calmly and methodically searches her stocking....

ELSA!  Santa went two for two this year!

After the sun came up, we Facetimed with Grandma Pat and Grandpa Ron...

And then the present floodgates opened!

soon we could barely see the floor...

Charlotte was so excited to get Elsa & Anna pajamas she had to stop what she was doing, put them on, and pose with her reflection in the fireplace...

Our freakish weather was warm enough to let the kids go on a post-present bike ride.  This was before the monsoon rains arrived...

We had a nice lazy afternoon before Grandma Kitty and G came over playing with all our new toys...

Day after Christmas Uncle Adam and Aunt Annie arrived, much to Charlotte's delight :)

Where we immediately imprisoned them in the basement and made them entertain our children...

and finally we had nice dinner and opened presents at Grandma and G's and this is the best picture I got sadly...

Such a nice long holiday with no traveling and lots of time with family!  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
