We had her two month appointment Friday afternoon. She weighed in at 11 lbs 1 oz (60 %), 22.75 inches long (60 %), and a nearly 75th % noggin at 39.5 cm. I was shocked to find she is almost exactly Colin's size at the same age - even a tiny bit smaller - as he clocked in at 23 inches and 11 lbs 9 oz, with the same size head! She just seems SO much bigger than he did back then! Of course, his measurements put him in the 25% for weight and 50% for height as a boy, so she's still outpacing him there. Sibling competition aside, I was just happy to hear how well she's growing! Dr. said she looks great and is developing right on track! We also had the dreaded 2 month shots :(. She was very warm and fussy that night, even refusing to eat (very unlike my little piglet!) but seemed back to normal by the next morning thankfully!
We are so proud of her 2 month accomplishments! She smiles and is starting to even sort of laugh a little with a weird little gaspy sound.. She is also just starting to coo and "talk" a little too. Other than a few rough nights this week, she's sleeping pretty well too- usually giving us one long stretch of up to 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 hours, followed by a few 2-3 hour stretches. She even slept all night up in her crib the other night! Little girl is growing up!
