Although temper tantrums have become more common these days (he hates the word "no" and if you take something away from him... be prepared for an epic meltdown), he still cracks up laughing so easily - he is such a happy guy! He has learned to shake his head "no" for any and every question we ask him. That can be cute or frustrating. It just depends.
His favorite part of the day is when mom comes home and puts her necklaces on him. I know. Mike is thrilled.
He has become pretty picky with what he'll eat, but it all depends on the day. His favorite food at the moment is greek yogurt, which he can actually do a pretty good job of spooning into his own mouth. It's messy, but it's cute.
He LOVES books lately. Before bed I usually go through 8-10 books with him. He likes to pick them out from the pile, one at a time, and hand the one he wants to me. He is getting so good at pointing pictures out in books when we ask - especially animals (he even gets them right most of the time)!
He's still super attached to his dog. Luckily mom thought to buy a backup a couple of weeks ago. We had a rogue puking incident last week and Dog#1 got taken out of commission. Colin refused to go to bed without his Dog - so out came Dog #2. Close call. Thank goodness for Ebay.
Every day it seems like he's figuring new things out and trying to communicate more and more. He loves to point to things to get us to tell him what they are. Even though he still doesn't have a ton of words, it's amazing how much he understands! I can't believe the little toddler we have on our hands.
